A homeschool friend posted this on facebook and it just captivated me!  This is a great video that shows how children are each different and need an education that can encourage thier diversity and gifts.
I had to share this with you!

It all starts at home!

Homesteading, Homeschooling, & Housework OH MY!
Busy, busy busy....So the over all goal is to live a more laid back lifestyle, right?

Homesteading is about living off the land, less dependance on others, (stores, big oil, etc..)

Homeschooling is (for me) a chance to spend more time with my kids and enjoy thier youth, and give them a great education in the process.

Housework, well that just need to be done, but with the Earth in mind!

Who knew that this LAIDBACK lifestyle would be so much work!
Feeding chickens, rabbit, dog, & cats, clean dishes (with natural dish soap), researching curriculum, bake bread, laundry & hanging clothes, collect eggs & wash them, vaccume, Co-Op, make chicken stock from Warren's roosters and can it!  play & learn with kids, gardening, cook food for family most nights (less take out), there is an endless list that goes on and on.

If it sounds like I am complaining.....I am not.  I love my choices...it is just ironic how a lifestyle that is suppossed to bring peace and contentment and be so BUSY!
